My career spans the communications mix with experience backed up with qualifications in communications, PR, marketing, change management, social media, issue and crisis internal communication, strategy execution and journalism. I’ve worked across the corporate, government, SME and non-profit sectors – as well as agency side.
Helping small and micro businesses be seen and heard is fast turning into an area of special interest for me.
I started taking freelance assignments, short and long-term contract work back in 2000 to expand my skills, broaden my experience and work across the breadth of the communications and marketing mix.
Although I moved on to permanent roles, I still take on interesting projects ranging from strategy development and execution to content writing, editing, proofreading, developing and refining messaging and branding. I have a broad skill set and love putting it to good use.
